Just how many eggs can you take in a day?

Just how many eggs can you take?

Forget about the  "Mayai ya kienyeji" effect myths and propaganda, this is what you need to know.

Science is clear that up to 3 whole eggs per day are perfectly safe for healthy people who are trying to stay healthy.

However if you enjoy eating eggs you may worry about harming your heart. Don't stress though. If you're healthy, you can eat eggs guilt-free. But how many and how often?

Nutritionally, eggs have a lot to offer. With about 70 calories in one large egg, they're a great source of protein that helps stabilize blood sugar levels and provides structure to the body.

Egg protein is also high quality, providing all the essential amino acids. Egg yolks also contain antioxidants that may reduce the risk of age-related macular degeneration and cataracts, and protect against heart disease, stroke and some cancers.

One large egg is also an excellent source of selenium, an antioxidant mineral that fights cell damage caused by free radicals and supports thyroid and immune function and riboflavin, a B vitamin that helps turn carbohydrates into energy, and vitamin D, important for strong bones and teeth.

EGGS AND WEIGHT LOSS

Two eggs per day keeps the belly fat away.

Adding a couple of eggs per day doesn’t do squat to your cholesterol level.Diet Bytes reported on a study that suggested eating eggs for breakfast helps to reduce calorie intakes throughout the rest of the day so that weight loss is achieved more easily.

The story created lots of interest with many of you saying you’d started going to work on an egg – and better still, found that it helped keep hunger at bay until lunchtime.

As many members pointed out, together with liver, kidney and prawns, eggs do contain more dietary cholesterol than many other foods. It was for this reason that past advice focused on limiting intakes of these foods if you had high blood cholesterol. And as eggs tend to be eaten more frequently than liver, kidney or prawns, they were particularly thrown into the spotlight when it came to advising people to cut down on cholesterol-containing foods.

 EGGS AND BODY BULIDING

EGGS-actly What You Need To Build Muscle!

Show me a bodybuilder without egg whites in his diet, and i'll show you someone who's missing out on the best protein money can buy. Paired with oatmeal, an egg-white omelet can turn your breakfast into a power meal to fuel the rest of your day.

How many of you body builders out there enjoy your eggs? Good, as a matter of fact that's great, keep it up and continue to read on because you may very well be on the road to increasing your egg intake and thus increasing your muscle mass.

To reduce the risk of food poisoning from eggs, consider the following;

  • Buying eggs from a reputable retailer where they will have been transported and stored at the correct temperature (below 20°C).
  • Keeping eggs in the fridge in their box after buying them.
  • Storing eggs separately from other foods.
  • Always using eggs by the ‘best before’ date shown on the egg or box.
  • Washing your hands before and after handling eggs.
  • Discarding dirty or cracked eggs.
  • Eating cooked egg dishes as soon as possible after cooking them or store in the fridge.
Meanwhile, the Food Standards Agency recommends against eating raw eggs or uncooked foods they suggest that elderly people, babies, toddlers, pregnant women and people who are already unwell should only eat eggs that have been cooked until the white and yolk are solid.

26 tips for survival in your 20s.

26 tips for survival in your 20s.

1. Nurture relationships with (at least
four) close friends. You will need them
when the going gets rough.

2. Nurture relationshi7ps with old
professors. You will need them when
filling out job and school applications.

3. Break up with that person who is
wasting your time. Also, if your ex has
moved on, you should too.

4. Open a savings account and put 10% of
everything you make into it (even that
birthday money from Granny). Also,
establish a regular pattern of giving to
causes you believe in.

5. Eat a plant every day. At least,
something that grew from a plant: fruit,
vegetable, legume, etc.

6. Drink a glass of water in between each
alcoholic drink.

7. Stay active. Pick a sport or form of
exercise that you love/tolerate and
continue to do it throughout your 20’s.
You’re never too old to join a flag football
team, and never too young to join a
bowling league.

8. Perfect the art of kissing.

9. If it’s cold outside, wear reasonable
clothing. There’s a time and a place to be
cute, but let’s be real: pneumonia is never
cute.

10. Forgive people who hurt you in the
past. Ancient wounds will only eat you
alive. And those jerks have no right to
control your future.

11. Pay off your student loans by the time
you’re 30.

12. Get mono. If you survive it once,
you’re set for life.

13. Seek out a mentor – an older, wiser
person who has an objective view on your
life (preferably not your parents).

14. Get some good anti-virus and security
software on your computer.

15. Remember this: life is too short to
stay at parties that are lame.

16. Keep all your tax forms in one place,

so that you can pull out last year’s as
needed (yes, you can be audited in your
20’s).

17. Emergency contacts. When you travel
(as we 20-somethings do), bring a card
with emergency contact numbers to be
able to cancel your credit cards and
phone. Keep this in a different place than
your passport, credit cards, and cell
phone.

18. Back up your computer files.
Technology fails.

19. Be humble. Clearly we DO know
everything in our 20’s, but humility will
sail you far in the real world.

20. Live as simply as possible. Having
less stuff frees you up to be able to pack
up and go wherever you want whenever
you want. Reducing your expenses allows
you to do the crazier stuff that makes
your 20’s memorable (see #17).

21. Do not live too far in the past (in
memories or regrets), nor too far in the
future (in expectations or anxieties). Be
present. Cultivate mindfulness, while
you’re eating, working, spending time with
friends, or suffering through another
holiday dinner with family.

22. Learn to cook. This is cheaper, easier,
and sexier than going out for food all the
time ... or than relying on your mom to
make your meals.

23. Pray. Find a mechanism to connect
with your spiritual side and be
unapologetic about it ... it’s like free
therapy any time you want!

24. Professional growth. We’ve all got to
pay our dues at crappy jobs, but if yours
is truly stealing your soul, give yourself a
time limit there. Your 20’s are too
precious to spend cooped up in an office
you hate. Also, take mental health days
when you need them!

25. Consider what your dream job is
before you get that tattoo . Are they
compatible?

26. Don’t plan too far ahead. Do you have
a 10-year plan? That’ll change. If you put
all your trust in well-laid plans, you risk
falling to pieces if they do too.

"Those thieves will one day STEAL the SUN”—Enraged Mugabe Warns Zimbabweans on KENYA.

Src-The spectator ke
When Kenya catches cold, Africa sneezes. The push and
pull in Mombasa has caught the attention of Zimbabwean president who while
attending a function in Marondera, made
an off the cuff speech to his supporters
during a stopover which will invite a lot of
jitters in the country.
“Do not be like people in that swamp of
thieves and madmen somewhere called
Kenya. You see right now a man called Commissioner Marwa; I even hate calling
him Nelson because I revered comrade Mandela so much. Now this man who holds a position which is transitory in the
constitution is breathing fire like a mad dog to a governor of Mombasa called Joho.
Is the constitution of Kenya suspended or it
has become another Afghanistan where every man is a law unto himself. ” he wondered aloud.
“Stupidly, their minister for Internal
Security one Nkaiseri has also joined the
bizarre chorus with his twisted
interpretation of laws…oh please pray for
Kenya where now 70% of students steal
exams, because they are no longer
interested in learning. I told you Kenyans
are certified thieves, I told you Kenya invented impunity and that’s why I have been thinking that snake in the garden of
Eden must have come from Kenya.
This nation shocks me; I am beginning to think
there are also other Marwas in this Zimbabwe who will be used even by the devil in hell to stunt every socio-political
milestone this great nation has covered.
When I was talking in Gwerru, I told them
that Kenyans are not welcomed here; they will infect our people with their bad manners.
Our people who traveled there
must be taken to rehabilitation centers for
behavioral correction before integrating
into the society. These people will one day
even steal the sun only that they will have
nowhere to hide it” He said.

Street children sodomised in Kisumu - sad story a must read

They are usually dirty, they eat bad
food, they wear torn clothes, and
are usually smelly. We. call them
chokoraas , while foreigners call them
streets children. We never want to
associate with them in any way.
When important people come to the
country we carry them like bags of
potatoes and hide them because they
bring shame. How shameful of us to
treat street children without dignity
and respect. For Christ sake these
young people are human beings.
When they cry out loud we turn a
blind eye and a deaf ear to them. No
one knows what young male street
children go through every single
night. While you sleep in your king
size bed, a young male street child is
being sodomized by an older male
street child.
On Friday evening, a young male
street child (age 12) approached me
near Tumaini shopping Centre in
Kisumu. He looked weak and wasn’t
walking properly. I could tell
something was wrong. He borrowed
10 shillings so that he could go buy
mandazis but I was reluctant at first.
The young boy instantly broke into
tears. I promised to give him 200
shillings if he told me what was
bothering him and it is at that
moment he decided to speak out.
A sombre mood engulfed me as tears
rolled down my cheeks when the
young man emotionally shared his
experience about the sexual abuse he
had suffered at the hands of older
male street children on a daily basis.
He narrated that young street boys
hardly sleep at night because they
are repeatedly sodomized by older
male street children.
“Every night we the young male
street children are usually assembled
at night and older and strong male
street children sodomize us. They
threaten to kill us if we dare speak
or scream. It is usually so painful
and sometimes I wish I was dead. No
one is usually there to help us.
Sometimes people pass by and only
turn a blind eye to us. To them we
are not humans”
These older male street children use
no protection hence putting the lives
of these young male street children
in danger. They risk being infected
with HIV and other STDs.
“When we go to the hospital or
police station we are usually chased
away because they say we are dirty
and we don’t belong there. This
news sent shivers down my spine
since I found it rather absurd that
security personnel who are supposed
to be the custodians of the law and
order, actually send these children
away when they report.
I am standing up for the plight of
street children in Kenya whose
stories remain untold because no
one actually bothers to listen to
them. They totally have no one to
fight for them, no one to help them
seek medical services when they are
defiled, sodomised and raped.
I therefore call upon the national
government, county government of
Kisumu and other stakeholders to
come to the rescue of young street
children of Kisumu . There should be
more recreational facilities in areas
where we have too many street
children. Lack of recreational
facilities has contributed to
‘streetism’ among children because
they have nothing to keep them
busy.

Leicester City 1-0 Newcastle United: Foxes continue march to title at Rafa's expense.

Shinji Okazaki proved the difference for Claudio Ranieri's men as the Japanese star
converted in the first half, ensuring an unhappy debut for the new man on Tyne side Rafa Benitez received a taste of the
challenge he faces in keeping Newcastle United in the Premier League, as the Magpies were beaten 1-0 by title chasers
Leicester City .

Shinji Okazaki's excellent finish midway through the first half lit up an otherwise quiet affair at the King Power Stadium as
Claudio Ranieri's men re-established a five-point lead over Tottenham at the top of the
table.

Leicester have won six of their last eight league games and show no sign of buckling
under the pressure, with only eight more matches left to negotiate as their remarkable
bid for the title goes on.
Newcastle, who were more steady in defence
but lacked an attacking punch, remain 19th
in the table and have now suffered defeat in
six of their last seven league outings.

After defeat in his debut match, Benitez's attention immediately turns to a pivotal derby against neighbours and fellow
strugglers Sunderland on Sunday, a match
that could go a long way to determining the
fate of the north-east rivals.

Leicester, meanwhile, are now guaranteed to be top of the pile come the beginning of
April and will hope to continue Crystal Palace's woeful Premier League form at
Selhurst Park on Saturday.
Benitez, who made two changes in his first selection, saw the visitors make a solid start
with Ayoze Perez and Moussa Sissoko both
off target with early efforts, but it wasunchanged Leicester who took the lead on
25 minutes.

Newcastle did not take two chances to clear
their lines from a Riyad Mahrez free-kick and
Marc Albrighton's follow-up cross, allowing
Jamie Vardy to head back across the face of
goal, with Okazaki's acrobatic effort doing
the rest from just outside the six-yard box.

Albrighton almost doubled the advantage
when he collected Vardy's pass and charged
towards goal before curling a shot just wide
from the edge of the area.
Benitez brought on Andros Townsend early
in the second half and Perez lashed an effort
against the side netting, but neither goalkeeper was overly tested throughout the
contest.

Siem de Jong and Seydou Doumbia were
also introduced, but Newcastle were
struggling to make an impression with
Leicester content to hold on to their one-goal
lead - earned from their only shot on target -and attempt to threaten on the counter-
attack.

Gentlemen - is it a 'YES or is it a 'NO'

Ladies, when a nigga invites you to his crib with "kuja nikupikie"... ."kuja nikuonyeshe vile gas yangu inawakanga vi funny" "kuja unifundishe kupika chapo". tha nigga is politely telling you to come and have sex with him at his place.
In fact, this is no longer news to these ladies. these ladies know that the very moment they accept to come, there is no "chapo to be cooked"..they know very well that they are simply escorting their labia minora for a possible perusal at your crib.

They know and have consciously accepted that there is a possibility of her pelvic areas being interrogated by your loins. They know!! that's why they shave before they come
So niggas, if the lady accepts to come, don't waste her time trying to be cautious ...remember that that lady has crossed borders for you. she has boarded matts in routes where people have been robbed....she has used roads where people have died to come n see you.

Look at that sacrifice. Sharper niggas have unhooked bra's within the first 5 minutes of a lady's visit coz they know that time is coitus yet wewe bado uko hapo na stories ohh "how was your week..ohh si unaona huku si mbali vile..'" why are you wasting that woman's time??

Secondly there are ladies who dont want to come and "cook chapo for you at yo crib" them they just want to meet you in town everytime. "hapana, wacha tu tukutane tao.." That is a lady who will never give you coitus my friend. members, i will not lie to you ..dont meet up with such a lady..she just wants you to buy her food and then she'll go ride another nigga with the energy from the food you bought. Enjoy your weekend y'all.
